this is simple, and i didnt think about it until just today. but im planning on getting a whole MSD ignition set up... planing on using the 6AL box on my car. only thing is, my car is an 82 and is carbed....so would the system work still? just wondering cuz i dont have all the newer comp stuff the i roc's all have and it's not fuel injected. Im going w/ a MSD distribuator and blah blah on my new engine, so i wont get it for a lil while, but dont want to waste my time and money...and find out the hard way.

 

On a stock GM HEI, the MSD goes between your ignition module (inside the distributor), and the distributor cap. Has nothing to do with the computer.
