Do I need a new solenoid?
Do I need a new solenoid?
When I turn the key, all I am getting it a loud clicking sound from the solenoid. The starter doesn't turn or anything. Does my solenoid need to be replaced, or is there some other problem?

Have you been experiencing an intermittent no start problem or did this just happen all of the sudden?
If you have been experiencing an intermittent no start problem than I would first check the main power (large cable to battery) connection to the solenoid. I would remove the cable (disconnect the battery first) and clean the connections real good with a wire brush, then reinstall the connection to the solenoid and try it again. If that doesn't work then I would try a new solenoid.

I just installed my MSD 6AL box, replaced the battery and battery cables, and installed a remote solenoid switch. I got the starter to turn the engine one time, but the car still wouldn't start. Then it began to just click.
