HEI coil and module

HEI coil and module
I was wondering if I replaced the stock coil (which I got at a junkyard and seems to work fine but...) with an aftermarket one, will that work ok with the stock module? The stock module is not from the jyard...it was part of a rebuild at a shop.

You can run any aftermarket coil with a stock replacement module in you HEI.I would recommend the MSD HEI coil.
