power locks/alarm install

Hey guys, I'm gonna install an alarm into my '83 Z-28. I need to know where's the best place to splice into the power door lock wire without ripping the door panel apart and running wires through the door? Im comfortable wiring up everything to the alarm except the door locks so I'm trying to get more info before I start this job ... thanks guys !

sorry to bring it back up, but i looked at the 12volt site, and i cant find anything vehicle specific. i've looked at the chiltons wiring diagrams, and i still can't figure out what type of door lock system it has (1-wire or 3-wire or the 5-wire alternating, etc.) have any of you guys installed alarms in a third-gen camaro that can help me out? be as specific as you can because im rather lost in this door lock situation. thanks again.

well i finally got off my lazy butt, took off the driver side kickpanel and checked out the relay with a voltmeter. for anybody interested or that has the same problem... there are two connectors on the relay. one has 2 prongs, one has 3. the 2 prong connector is coming from the switch, and is the "inlet" to the relays (use this for the alarm) the blue wire (there are 2 blue wires going into the one prong) gets +12V when you press the "lock" button, and the black wire (again, 2 black wires into 1 prong) gets +12V when you press the "unlock" button.
