Ign. Box and Coil location - Temp. concerns

I just installed a 383 with Hooker SC/LT headers in my 87 Camaro and I'm now into the wiring phase.

I mounted a MSD (6AL)Box and Blaster2 Coil to a 10" x 13" Alu. Plate and attached the plate (vertical) to the Pass. Side shock tower.

Looks cool but my question is in regards to heat. The closest point to the header is 6".
Do you think the Box and Coil can survive?

Sir,

We generally recommend 4-6 inches from the exhaust, so the units should be fine where your talking about.

Thanks,
