Atten: 87-88 GTA owners

I'm trying to put my 87 GTA's cooling fan harness/relays back to stock. The hack that owned the car before me cut the factory harness and relays out.

I have the Helm manual for my car and it doesn't have a nice picture of the harness routing and none of the junkyards have a dual fan firebird to look at. So.... I'm not sure what all is missing.

Would anyone have pictures of the fan relay/harness setup they could post or email me? There is also a 6 pin inline weatherpak that nothing is plugged into next to the aircleaner. If so I'd be really grateful.

Still no luck with a diagram huh ?

Try this http://www.deadbird.org/tech/fan.gif

For the passenger side fan, The green/white wire goes to the fan switch in the passenger side head between the #5 & #7 cyls instead of to the ECM.

The weatherpack was part of the OEM wiring to supply power to the relays & to the fans.

GM themselves did a pretty sad job of running the wires IMO. You might just be better off starting at the battery.

Thanks for the diagram, but I already have that.

What I need are pics of the actual relays and harness in the car, so I can tell what is missing.

This is all there is to the fan harness (not in the same location as shown keep in mind),,,

http://www.deadbird.org/tech/fans.jpg

2 relays, the worthless 5-6 pin plug (lower corner of pic),the fusable link (about 6" off the + batt terminal, no pic, mine's been gone for awhile now), the fuse holder(goes on the fusable link), and the sensor in the pass side head.
