Ok, I know the answer to this already, but just want to make sure...
If I peg my 85 MPH speedometer, will it break or mess up the callibration? The broken trip meter's **** stops it where 90 would be almost exactly... Anybody?

You have a mechanical speedo right? Even if you had an electronic, you should be ok.. I went up to 130 MPH in my 85 T/A and had no problems (85 MPH speedo)

Ok, so I answered my question last night on the "strip" as more anecdotal evidence for anybody that bothered to look at this post, I got my car up to 95 or so last night, pegged it and let it go for a little more, since this is a half mile or so of straight road and everything was zipping by so fast, I decided to let it go at that... so my speedo still works fine... we all saw that comming though.
I was quite impressed with the speed up to 95... it took half the time as my civic wagon used to hehe, of course hitting 100 in 4th (5th made ~95 top speed) was the best that 93 Hp could do.

If you removed the trip meter ****, would it screw anything up. It'd be cool to see the needle spin all the way around like that.
