power to coil

ok i hacked my stock harness out and put dfi in it. problem i have it this i have a pink wire coming out of the firewall next to brake booster.. it is cut but i know it goes to the coil. it is ignition 12v. but the white wire on the coil i am lost at to where it goes. can i just put it to chasis ground? or does it have to go somewhere specific?
help is appreciated as i am nearing the end and want to button up everything

The white wire goes to the Tach., I guess you could just ground it (don't based just on that tho).

You'll have to make your own conclusion from that. The wire diagram I have doesn't show a tach in the car but the wiring going to where it would be from the coil, it just terminates at the cluster connection. Guess that's not much help really but, at least you have a nice diagram to look at
