please somebody help me with speedo

i'm not sure if this is the right board or not, if not, i'm sure someone will correct me. well my problem is that i need to know how to get my speedo to work correctly with the setup that i have now.

t-56 tranny, 3.73 gears, and p275 tires in the back.

i have an 87 z28 with a mechanical speedo, i've heard that i need something that converts the t-56's vss signal into a mechanical one or somethig. please please please somebody help me get the parts i need. i want to have my camaro back so i can drive it. thanks in advance

used to make a kit a kit that converted the digital signal to mechanical (at a helluva price), don't know if they still do.

I'm not sure if the newer non mech. speedo's that came in 3rd gens work with the 4th gen sensor or not, you might be better off or get a better answer asking in the General Tech or Transmission boards about that.
