Recently did away with my ecm and wiring harness for it.Have my tach, temp, gas, amps gauges working but can't figure out how I can wire my oil pressure gauge because I think the wire for the oil pres gauge is in the harness for the ecm.Any Help would be greatly appreciated Thanks.

I have eliminated the ECM and wiring harness on my car as well and also have some re-wiring issues (no auto-fan and an inoperative volts gauge}. That proves that I am no Pro. But let me just explain my Oil Pressure gauge set-up.
I have an 87 SC LG4 (with T-Tops) and the Oil Pressure sending unit is bell shaped with a single blade, located at the rear of the engine, right next to the distributor.
The connection is a Tan wire coming from the Bulkhead connector (E5 pin) on the firewall (driver side), next to the power brake unit. It should have a 1/2 inch rubber, 90 degree domed boot on the end.
The Oil Pressure gauge is not ECM related, so you should find that boot hanging down behind your engine somewhere.

Depending on the year of your F-body, the oil pressure sender may be either in the location described above, or it may be located above the oil filter, in an integral pressure sender / fuel pump switch, with a 3 wire connector attached to it.
