Gauges not working

I just installed my engine in to my car. Now the temp gauge does not move and the oil psi gauge is pinned at the top, 100 psi i doubt it. i do have 2 plugs that i cannot find where they go and i have 2 sensors on the block that i cannot find the plugs for (no the plugs don't match the sensors.) If any one has schematics of the temp and oil gauges, please e-mail me.
thanks
jake

I found out where the temp sensor is and it is not plugged in. What color is the wire for this. I think the oil pressure sensor is plugged in if it is the one above the oil filter.

**I got the temp gauge working. i found the plug. However the oil psi is still pinned at the top of the gauge. i doubt it is the sensor because it worked before i took out the engine. What is the sensor on the passenger side head? it is the same type plug as the fan sensor thermostat.

The sensor above the oil filter is the fuel pump switch (it is in parallel with the fuel pump relay). The oil pressure sensor is located at the rear of the block, next to the distributor. It's kind of bell shaped, about 1.25" diameter, with a single flat blade connector. The wire to it is tan color. Being disconnected would cause the meter to be pegged at max psi (anything greater than 90 ohms will peg the meter).

The sensor on the passenger side head is the fan switch for the auxilary cooling fan. It goes to position D on a 6 way plug at the rear righthand side of the engine compartment. the other side of this plug goes to the relay for the aux fan. The wire on D on the relay side should be green/white. The wire on the sensor side should be dark green according to my factory service manual, however mine has a black wire going to the sensor. I think it runs in the same harness as the knock sensor (not sure as mine was disconnected long ago in favor of an adjustable switch).
