Switch Panel

Hey guys I was wondering what you guys have done in the way of a custom switch box/panel. I want to add about 4 switches to my car for various things. Has anyone used they're ash tray for this? Or even the little box where the fog light switch is. I'm not all about mounting that goofy switch box that they sell at radio shack anywhere near my car. Give me some advice and.or pics. Thanks

Matt

I found 4 toggle switches that are lighted and differently colored at a hardware place a coupla weeks ago. I mounted them on a thin piece of aluminum, and put the piece in that little tiny covered area down and to the left of the steering wheel. They don't do much right now, though....

the hole for the ash tray works well for this. i used a piece of stainless steel and put the surface mount rocker switches. ive only got two now but another two could be added easily.
