wiring in a/f ratio guage...

has anyone wired in a a/f guage on a non computer car? the instructions says to connect one wire from the guage to the wire on the car that goes to the PCM. My car doesnt have a PCM. Will it work if I just directly connect this same wire to the 02 sensor?

If you have a O2 sensor all you have to do is connect the signal wire on the gauge to the wire on the 02 sensor.

Do NOT splice the O2 sensor wire!!! It gives you a bad reading. If you splice into the wire on the ECU then you get a nice and clean signal. I think the wire you need is #13 (brown) on the second plug. Do a search on the exact wire.

Really? That's great. I'm definatly getting one of those now, I didn't know you could keep all the wiring in the passenger area, now this is perfect. I don't ever like running wires from the engine through the firewall..

Thanks for letting us know you can use the wire off of the ECM..
