Amp draw
Yesterday I went to start my Iroc and it was completely dead. The battery was dead and would not take a charge. I noticed that I had left the dome light on for 4 days. Could this cause the battery to completly die? I checked the amp draw with everything off and it was greater than 250 mA. I know the computer is drawing power but is anything else. Does anyone know what the normal amp draw should be when the car is at rest. This is a 305 TPI automatic with no power accessories.

Yes, leaving the dome light on overnite will drain the battery. Current draw with nothing on - no dome light or under hood light, either - should be less thatn 100 ma (0.1 amperes).
