heres my problem, the headlights don't move, they are stuck up, the lights work but the motors have no life in them, can some one direct me to a sight that can tell me how to fix this, or give me info, pictures help alot, also some one said the 87 and newer had different type of relays, any ideas, tia

Go to the tech article section on this site, there is a write up on fixing this, if not do a search on this board.

Riku sent me a word document that I converted and put on the web at http://people.mw.mediaone.net/afgun/cars/headlights.html. It might be of use to you.

I bought an 87 TA 2 months ago and this was also my first headache. Here is a link to a picture of my modulator I replaced and fixed all my problems. Wasn't the motors, wasn't the relays, wasn't the wiring it was this modulator. I checked all the others and you should too. Also make sure the correct bulbs (1157) are in the turn signals and that the ground wires to the headlights are clean and making good contact. Good Luck.

Also, I got my modulator in a relay grab bag on e-bay for $10.00. Got the modulator and all the other MAF relays, fan relays, etc. Don't know how much a new one is or if they are available.
