I got this hei tune up kit, and one of the parts that is in there is a new module. Well I go to replace it today, and it turns out they are different. The one thats on my car right now has five prongs on the right side, and the new one only has two. Here is a picture.


I assume it has something to do with being conmputer controlled. what should I do, just leave my old one or can I make this new one work. Should I continue with my cap and rotor replacement or get a different module?

The new module works only with HEI distributor with vacuum advance(pre-computer controlled)..You must get the seven pin module or keep your old one
