Volt Meter

today I noticed that every now and then my volt gauge would start to oscilate...I would just move a little, back and forth, kinda bouncing. Does this mean anything? Voltage regulator perhapse...

Well first test your alternator, if the alternator is good then its probably not your voltage regulator.

Go to your local auto parts store and have them hook up their charging system checker. This service is usually free and more accurate than your in car voltmeter. Then you can start diagnosing it.
