T/A HEADLIGHTS

i have a 87 Trans Am. latly the drivers side headlight is acting up.... When i turn them on the passenger side just pops right up, the other one will come up, then go down and somtimes just stay up.. i have to help it sometimes.. whats going on?

Thanks a lot, im going to have to do that this sunday... I had my car painted and a little body work done to the front end.. so i didnt know if the body shop had the headlights out and didnt put in right or what... but what the website said is exactly what my deals is.... i can hear it going on a few seconds after i shut them off... But your plan sounds good.. Thanks!
