Question about replacing tail light bulbs.

I tried to replace my left(drivers side) break lights yesterday and failed. I could get at the lights but my problem was geting a good secure connection between the bulb and socket. The bulbs are in, but loose. They go on and off with the slightest touch. Is there a trick to locking the bulbs in place. They are T2057. Sorry for the dumb question, I'm a rookie.

Push it in (should feel springy) and turn clockwise. If you did that and it's still wobbly, you can either try and bend the "spring" contact back up, or go to a junkyard and grab a bunch of the bulb holders from a similar car.

By the way, it's only gonna turn a little bit (about 15 degrees), not screw in like your every day household bulb.

also, try to install it using a piece of cloth; finger oil can shorten the life of your bulb!
