How hard to change blower fan?

Im not sure this is the right board, but here goes. My heater/ac blower fan is going out, the bearings make a horrible noise. They only do it when its really cold, never in the summer, and once the car is warmed up in the winter, the noise goes away. But every morning on the way to work, ti annoys the crap outta me. So how hard is it to change the motor, and abotu how much should I expect to pay for a new one? Iwas thinking of getting one from a junk yard, any differences between year models?

There are 5 (I'll guess 8mm) hex screws holding the motor/cage to the box under the hood. Remove these, unplug the motor & give a little pry to pop it loose. There should be a nut holding the cage to the motor that you'll need to remove. GM price is something like $50 so I'd guess a local parts store will have it for $20-30 for the motor. Put the cage on the new motor (you may need a new gasket easily made from truck campershell foam tape or similar stuff) reinstall & you should have a noise free blower.

Sweet - sounds alot easier than I thought. I wasnt sure if I could just remove the motor or if I had to pull the whole freakin thing apart...
