complete harness install

85 IROC, was blowing computers, had numerous hackjobs, so I purchased a complete engine and dash wiring harness, new computer, and the guy threw in the MAS as well.
I am planning on taking the dash all the way out, and removing and installing one wire at a time.
Any suggestions? I would like to have some input since I havent had to rewire any camaros lately.

85 IROC, 305 TPI, block from 83 firebird, 3" exhaust, unknown heads/cam, no ECM, Urban Assualt flat green paint, 245/50/16 eagle GT II's. Car was FREE, and worth every broken knuckle.

You will definately need the '85 Helm shop manual.

Well I dont have one. I'm going to take my typical blind ignorant approach and start tearing it apart tonight.....
any other insight?
In my defense i have made nice color printouts of the wiring from the vtcamaro guy's site, and i have a Hanes manual.....good as it's gonna get. Oh, and a new multimeter...hehe
I know quite a few people have had their dash out, and concequently ran into some difficulties, im just looking for someone who may have made some mistakes for me (aside from not purchasing the right manual)

I would suggest-once you take out your dash-
Lay it on the ground and lay out your newer harness next to it--to get an idea where stuff would go-plugs etc--that's what I did-and I ran into minimal problems doing it that way. Also make sure you route the new harness the way the old one was. Now for the engine harness-I did that too and it was a pain! You're just going to have to try to lay out the new one on top of the engine bay--as you're pulling out the old one-start plugging in the new one--I did it that way--is the old harness labeled? That would help out alot! Good luck.

Forgot to add--you'd be better off to drop your steering column out of the way before you drop the dash--it'll be in the way if you don't.

Cool, well that was along the lines of what I am planning to do, remove the dash, and remove one as I install the other. Yes it is labeled in pencil, at one point someone could probably even read it.
Know where any diagrams of the dash assembly are on the net? My cheap Haynes manual doesnt have such modern conveniences.
