Here check out this link. It gives most of the codes and you can find out about each of them if you click on them.

http://www.gmtips.com/3rd-degree/dox...es/code-01.htm

Also, you can go to the very bottom of this page:

hope that this helps.

Good question man. I never looked at what it said for code 43. You might want to check simple things like all of the connections to the ECM and connections at the TPS sensor. Possibly disconnecting the TPS sensor and cleaning the contacts with some contact cleaner might do it. I'm not sure what the knock sensor is; i would ask one of the tech heads on this site.

check this picture out, it shows where the TPS sensor is on the TPI engines. I am not sure if it's in the same spot on the TBI's or not.

since i don't know where the exact connections are at the ECM, just make sure all of the connections that go to the ECM are firmly connected and they are just hangin there or are loose.

The member on this page that may know goes by the name of Danno. You also might want to try Bernard Tripp (aka GMTech on the ThirdGen.Org Message Board). He is an ASE Certified Master Technician with Advanced Level Engine Performance. He works at a Buick-GMC dealer and is a long time F-body Fan.
He is about the smartest guy on this site when it comes to engine diagnostics. I would give him a try at:
