hypertech thermostat switch

hypertech thermostat switch

I just ordered one and it came in today and i was wondering how to install it? any help would be great. Thanks.

Depending on how fast you are, you might want to drain out (some of) your coolant.

Take the old fan switch out of the passenger side head, between cyls 6 & 8. Put in the Hypertech switch. Cut the old terminal off the wire, strip back the insulation of the factory wire you just cut, then crimp on the new supplied terminal and plug into the switch.

If you think you can swap the switches fast enough, there's no need to drain any coolant although you'll still loose alittle.

It may not be necessary to strip and cut the wire... some new kits come with an adaptor wire. Use that first if possible.
