Alarm Systems
Alarm Systems
Does anyone have an alarm system on their car with a motion sensor. I am worried about my t-tops being stolen if I leave my window partially open. Stupid kids at my high school would find that amusing.

I have a Clifford AvantGaurd III and it has dual motion sensors. One for the outside for anyone lurking to close to long and one for the inside that they will mount in your console. On most alarms you can adjust the sensitivity of them so that everytime the wind blows it doesn't beeb. I have t-tops and when my alarm is armed I can stick my hand in the car and my alarm will sound. If you set your sensitivity too high and have something dangaling from your rear view mirror and your car gets shaken for any reason like wind, it will set it off. Most of the alarms now have motions sensors, but if you go get one ask for it....Hope this helps.
