3rd/4th gen gauge differences
I'm throwing around a couple ideas. I'm not planning on stuffing a whole 4th gen dash into my car, but I'm entertaining the idea of putting a digital speedo from a GTA into the car, and flanking a late model half-circle tach on one side, and the smaller gauges on the other. I suppose the finish product would be somewhat similar to a late C4 dash, except more camaro-ish.
Anyway, are all electronic tachs created equal? What about the other gauges? The speedo is a non-issue because I'd use the GTA one.
Yeah, I know this is a major project, but I have yet to find a thirdgen camaro with aftermarket gauges that impresses me in the least.

I'd have to say most likely yes (at least for GM cars). An extra tach I had for my camaro worked on my bud's 72 chevy. All it should need is 12v power & the tach lead from the coil to work.
