Do I Need The Computer?

I have an 88' Firebird. I pulled the 305 TBI for a 76' 400 Carbed. (Still to be installed) Will I need the computer for anything?

No, however, if you plan to use the in tank fuel pump to supply fuel to the carb, you will need to wire the fuel pump relay coil to the cold start injector power wire coming from the ignition switch to power it during cranking. You will need to use the fuel pump oil pressure switch to power the relay while the engine is running, as well. You will also need to use a different (non computer controlled) distributor.
