AC/Heat Fan

Alright, just wondering if anyone had ANY idea about this

The fan works on low, medium, but not on high. the blower shuts off once you turn it on HIGH. Think the component itself is screwed? Or maybe a wire, or something else that could cause it to shutoff on high?

There is a 'blower high speed relay' located on the HVAC box or somewhere really close. The relay is dirctly powered by a heavy gauge puprle or red (or maybe red in purple out, purple in/out... some combo those colors ..I forget.. anyways..) that goes directly to the starter (main lug) and has a fusible link on it. At least one of those heavy wires should have +12v on it at all times (both if the fan is on high. If there's no power at that relay, the fusible link may have broken or shorted.

I had a similiar problem on my 85 IROC. As I recall, the resistor wire had simply burned through. A five minute job to replace.
