Got a 95 Pontiac Trans Sport.....

NO Key! The owner lost it !This is no easy fix over here!

You should be able to get some information from a dealer about your problem. I would think that you would probably be able to order a new set of keys or replace the ignition switch itself with another one that you have a key for.

I would tell you how to by pass it however if you don't have the original key you can't bypass it. The vats key itself has a resistance inside it. If you knew the resistance in the key, there are two wires down the steering column in I think orange sheath pull them down and wire the resistor in. and the car should turn over no problem with the key without the vats. GM didn't make that many different type of vat keys.. just see if you can borrow some buddy's figure out the resistance for a couple using a voltimeter.. and test each resistance out.... the easier way? get the whole lock cylinder replaced..... mighty expensive though good luck!
