head light motors screwed up
head light motors screwed up
I was headed out to my car on friday night/saturday morning and I go to turn on the headlights in my 85 Trans am and the lights come on, but they don't go up. Luckily I live in the city so it wasn't too bad and at that time the streets are pretty much empty. So I go to take a look at them today and I can manually put them up by using the ***** when the light switch is turned on and they will go down by themselves when the switch is turned off. Any Ideas cause I'm fresh out. Any help would be appreciated.
never mind
I did the one thing here that everyone hates: posting a topic without searching first. I found the problem within a 5 minute search. It was the isolation relay. I learned my lesson and will search first from now on.

On my firebird using the three relay system, the isolation relay was located on the engine compartment wall, where it meets the battery tray, between the battery and the headlight assembly.
