O2 sensor wire melted......what should i do?

i talked to my brother and he said that i need to do it in a way that would create as little resistence possible cuz of the extremely low current through the wire........well if i soldered a new wire in wouldn't that be good enough?

as or right now the connector is melted to the exhaust and my car is running rich becuz of the bad readings.....

Remove the melted cable and solder on the new cable with the connector, your car will run like crap without it

resolder your cable, then get an o2 simulator and mount it away from the exhaust:sillylol:
