Factory Switches Different application
OK. I have an 84 Z. No fog lights obviously and no defroster. I have the panels and switches from other cars and I would like to use them.
I don't have fog lights yet, so that's no an issue. However, I'd like to use the defroster switch for my pusher fan. How would I go about wiring that up?

The rear window defroster switch has a timer built into it that shuts off after a certain period of time - like 15 minutes, or so - so that would not be a good choice for controlling a cooling fan.
