usually one of my directionals doesn't work when i have my headlights up (1986 firebird). and, i don't know how to make it work. it blinks, but i doesn't have that "glow" that it should have when you have your headlights up. however, here's where the mysterious thing comes up....... after driving for 20 minutes that "glow" suddenly works. which is odd.

also, the light where the heater controls don't work. but when the directional gets it glow, the heater control light works. strange. anybody that knows how to fix or hep me with any of this.... please..... this is really starting to make me mad

 

It sounds most likely that you have some ground connection problems. Start from the battery negative and work outward, checking that the connections are clean and tight.

 

You start off with "I hate electronics" in the electronics forum and then you want help ? Wow... that's not very smart is it ? LMAO

Take it to a shop before you **** something up...

 

sorry about the topic name... but i'm just really frustrated. what type of shops do electronic work on cars? just regular shops? (if this is a dumb question, feel free to mock me)
