Interior Lights
Interior Lights
I went to the junk yard today and pulled out some lights that go by the doors they power the 194r bulbs I was wondering if I could hook'em up from the wires that connect to the cigarette lighter so they could stay on when I start the car and not having to have the dome light on at the same time?

Welcome to the boards.
Yes, you could but, the cig lighter is on a constant power circuit (ACC fuse), it never goes off. There are open provisions on the fuse panel for adding keyswitched accesories.

Sorry bud.. I try (when I pay attention to post count) to greet anybody that appears new.
Certainly you can just add a on/off switch. One thing you may want to add inline fuse (3-5A if you're just wiring up the 2 floor lights) from the lighter to the switch.. you don't have to but, being safe when it comes to wiring never hurts.
