alternator bolts

Does anyone know the size of the torx head wrench I need to remove the torx head bolts holding my alternator to the bracket?

Thanks

Rene,
There are 2 different sized bolts holding the alternator to the aluminum bracket. The upper one requires a T40 and the the lower a T50. I recommend using the torx sockets with a ratchet and extension vs the "L" shaped wrenches for better leverage and accessibility especially if alternator is the original.

Mike,

Thanks for the quick reply. I really appreciate it. Now. I am going to go to sears so I can buy those torx wrenches so I can install my new powermaster 140 amp alternator. Thanks again.
