Where does THIS wire go...?
I had my local high school auto class swap my blown up engine for a used core I bought. THEY F'ed the wiring all up...but the engine is in and all. OK....There are 3 sets of wires that come out with the A/C compressor wires...one connector goes behind the compressor pulley, one round connector goes to the back of the compressor, WHAT IS THE OTHER ONE...its a dark green wire with an orange connector...its a flat connector, single wire, female...its an 87 LB9 engine...can anyone help PLEASE!!!

Sounds like the temp. gauge wire. Look on the drivers side cylinder head inbetween the #1 and #3 cylinders, there should be a sensor type plug there, see if the wire is missing, if so plug your mystery wire in there and see if your temp gauge works again.
A pic. would help out alot, but its not that big a deal.
