Headlight Problems

My headlights wont go up. I have determind tha it is a relay that tells the lights weather to go up or down. But i cant find the relay.. can anyone help me? Maybe even have a picture of the relay? I am 100% sure its not the motor. the motor isnt getting power for the up mode
Thanks in advance
James

The headlight module or relay on the Firebirds is attached to the firewall near the wiper module assembly. It's a black square box and controls the up/down movement of the headlights. They do go bad often.

It's a '85 right?
If so, he has the older 3 wire style motors. The module isn't on his system.

The relay that contols the up motion is on the passenger side radiator baffle. If you have a TPI engine, its where the air cleaner box is. You'll have to take it off to see. Its bolted to the support. Someone could have moved it around before so look basically in thet corner where the charcoal canister is. It should be in that corner only closer to the radiator.
The relay itself looks like any other relay. It isn't like any other relay though. It cannot be swapped with any other.

Hope this helps,

Matt
