Foglight Question 1992 Firebird

Alright guys I'm sure this topic has been covered somewhat already but my ...foglights... wont work, ok when I bought the car a 1992 Firebird they didnt work so I replaced the fuse and got the switch to light up green when you turn it on...still no fog lights.....I even went as far as getting OEM replacement foglights and still they wont work.... ......I have searched some of the posts and ppl say they have a relay under the hood on later year cars......well I dont see any relay under my hood and I havent found it under the dash either........can someone who has a 1991-92 car take a pic of this relay for me.... ......this electrical stuff is making my gray hair turn even more grayer.....thanks alot for your help and support..........

sorry no pic however, mine was under the driver side panel, to the right of the fuse block. its smaller than the fan relays, it looks like a rectangle.

i just installed factory fog in my 91 formula, when its starting to get dark i just put on my parking lights then turn on the fogs.

Thanks ...... MD..............do you have a part number for that relay??? or is it something already in a parts house data base like ( autozone/pepboys/napa ).......or am I stuck going back to the dealer to get me one?????

yeah you need that 12 volts for those fog lights to work!

ummm actually i bought my relay at advance auto parts, 10 bucks..

my car was prewired from the factory but did not actually come with the equpiment needed.
so i had so i installed the foglights, then i installed the switch and new panel, then the 20 amp fuse, and then i was like why isnt the stuff working.. so i looked in my trusty manual and it talked about a relay to shut off the fogs when the high beams were off, so i found the connector and put in the relay... and everything worked well
