how do i hook my tach up?

well use a fuse tap for the 12 volt source that only comes on only when the cars on. most likely a red wire.
the black wire (ground) is a body ground like under a bolt.
the white wire is most likely the light, for it to come on when the parking lights are on, splice into the 12 volt wire behind the parking light switch.
the green wire most likely goes to the distributor or coil..
