disable airbag temporarily?
how do you disable the airbag temporarly? i'm about to install my alarm system and rather not have a crotch full of airbag if i can help it 91 camaro rs

Disconnect the battery (which you should do anyway) or remove the airbag fuse.

the airbag has two power sources, one ignition switched, the other a constant live one. disconnecting the battery gets both of them.
