Trans am foglights addon to Firebird Formula

While looking at pictures of the higher end firebird models I realized how cool my firebird would look with foglights instead of a black piece of plastic on the bumper. Has anyone ever tried this upgrade and if so, besides the lights, are there any other parts needed?

I bought a set of driving lights that look almost identical to the Trans Am fog lights from a parts store. Cost me I think 30 bucks and all the wiring and switch come with it (junkyard wanted 80 bucks for T/A foglights ). This is one add on I'm very pleased with, and the lights are wired so that they go on whenever the ignition is ON.

Sorry for the crappy quality:

factory wiring already there, i had to add the relay, fuse, switch panel with all three switches , and of coarse the factory foglights...

worked out nice, took about 1 hour start to finish, including the trip to the parts store.

total cost was about 150 bucks..

120 bucks for the foglights assemblies and also the ebay seller gave me the parking light housing for each side.

22 bucks for the swithc panel and swtiches, another ebay winner.

and about 8 bucks for the relay, and i had alot of fuses left over from my parts car..

i am thinking about taking the black panels on each side and cutting them just enough for the foglights to be seen and then put them back on.
