Help me set up a 240mph stock speedo
I have have found a 240MPH speedo that is a cable operated one. I need it to work w/ a T-56 tranny, so how can I make it work with my tranny. I was thinking about opening it up putting the electronic components form a 110MPH electronic in it, that using a dakota digital converter? How can I get this thing to work????

Speedometer Calibration
If you have a 90+ Camaro or an 87+ Firebird you already have an electronically driven speedometer. If not, the transmission's electronic signal has to get converted to a mechanical shaft drive, or the speedometer must be changed to an electrical unit. JTR (Jag's That Run) has a conversion kit available to change the electrical T56 output to a mechanical cable, but unfortunately, it is around $300. Abbot makes a black box that drives a cable speedometer as well, for a few hundred. Auto Meter has an electronically driven speedometer that accept's the VSS signal. I'm using this, along with a few others very succesfully.

Thanks guys, but I talked to a guy from terf.com (the guy really knows his ****) and he told me I could swap the standard Camaro guts in, than buy a recalibrator and be good to go. So once I buy the speedo (it comes w/ the whole cluster including a 7k tac.) I will get to work on it, than later this summer I can put it in the car. Only problem is the freakng thing will run me over $250, but hey most people dont even know they exist!
