What does this connecter go to?

Okay I don't have a picture of it BUT this is a carb'd 1983 base firebird. The connecter in question is over by the heater/ECM.
It has 1black 1 orage/black 1 pink/black 1 lt blue and 2 purple/white wires. Any ideas what this was for? I can't even FIND any referance to purple/white wires in the chiltons which is all I have for wiring on this beast...

Thanks!

Is this in the engine compartment or inside the passenger compartment (behind the dash panel)?

This IS one, single, six conductor connector, right?

yah sorry, its a 5 pin connecter, the 2 purple/white wires go to the same pin.

And it is in the passanger compartment, under the passanger side dash right beside the ECM.

PPL/WHT is used in the HEI/EST circuits, ORG is everywhere.

Pink/Blk is usually the GAGE, ECM, or IGN power circuits.
