hot start problem

ok i read the article in the tech articles and i was wondering exactly what did it mean by "hot start problems". mine fires right up when its cold, but once its hot, it cranks and cranks before it finally fires up. is this what the article is talking about or is this something different?

Generally it can refer to 2 things. Either a failure to crank usually described as "heat soak" most times caused by a starter on it's way out or what you describe. The latter is more common with carbed engines.
