Error code 54?

Error code 54?
Okay I TRIED searching BUT we can't specify under 3 letters, so I CAN"T look for 54....dumb idea....
I have a 1984 V6 2.8L Carb'd firebird.
I have been having issues with the computer for a while and just got a replacement one from another 84 carb'd V6. Now I am getting the check engine light on and when I check the computer it says trouble code 54. I can not find any referance to an error code 54. Anyone know what maybe causing this?

in the Haynes' manual it states for a carb. :
Code 54
Mixture control solenoid
Open circuit or short to ground in the mixture solenoid circuit; defective mixture control solenoid; defective ECM - if the mixture control solenoid is shorted to ground, the ECM may have been damaged.

Thanks the Chilton's didn't have that code. Guess tomarrow I will order a Haynes.....
And a mixtue control solinoid as well.
