stereo installation

Iwas wondering if i could install a cd changer into my 84 Berlinetta without losing its uniuqe center console stereo any body with expirence in this area i would appreciate any relative info Thanks

Its easy to hook up a cd player, but i havent come up with a way to run one and the stock radio at the same time. If you pull the pod radio, underneath it is gonna be a gray metal box with all of your radio wiring attached. You can run everything off of that, and just stick the head unit/changer wherever is convenient for you, ive got mine underneath the passenger side dash.

You can run your CD changer with an FM modulator in order to retain full functionality of your stock radio. You basically tune to a certain station in order to hear the CD changer, and it's plugged directly into your antenna lead, so there's no real atmospheric tranmission. You don't get much of an interference problem, and there's a slight (unnoticable to most people) degradation in sound quality.
