Does anyone have a list of sensors that give the ecm feedback of vehicle functions? I have an 89 iroc tpi.

Oh man, I'm just gonna try from my head right now, then I'll go look on the net. I know I'm gonna forget a bunch.

VSS - Vehicle Speed Sensor
O2 - O2 Sensor
TPS - Throttle Position Sensor
MAT - Manifold Absolute Temperaure
MAF - Mass Air Flow (MAF cars only)
MAP - Manifold Absolute Pressure(Speed Density only I believe)
Knock Sensor - duh
Automatics - Gear sensor, TCC lockup, upshift and downshift sensors, prolly more)
Coolant Temp Sensor(I think there is more than one?)
IAC - Idle Air Control
EGR - Exhaust Gas Recirculation
AAT - Ambient Air Temperature
Load Sensor
Misfire Detection Sensor(not sure if camaro has one of these)

If i find or think of any more I'll post them.

 

last year of the MAF sensor was '89, so i'm pretty sure you got that one

also:
oil pressure sensor (feeds the oil dash gage)
oil level sensor (feeds the low oil light)
fuel level sensor (floater in the fuel tank)
