Gauge sender wires in engine bay on a 88 camaro need help
I bought a 88 camaro with a 71 350 put in it back a few mo. ago. The car came stock 2.8 L v-8, 5 speed, gauge package, etc
When I got the car the tach, volts, oil psi or water temp gauges did'nt work. Now I just got a Cyberdyne digital dash gauge panel for it off ebay, and I know they use the stock gauge wiring. Nothing was hooked up to the 71 350 as far as gauge wires go.
Can anybody tell me what color wires (in the engine bay) goes to each the water temp sender, oil psi sender, and the tach wire that goes to the coil/dist.?
Thanks a bunch
John

kptkid... Thanks i'll cheak for those wires.
Yep your right every 2.8 I ever seen has been a v-6 lol.. Sorry about that type o it was late when I typed the question.
I was looking over my wiring today and it looks like they did a pretty good hack job on it.
The heater is wired for single speed only to a toggel, the headlights (low beam) are ran to a switch in middle of the console, brights still work norm thought.
One of the wires that goes to the alt. plug is cut and ran to some wire behind the dist.
The starter is still hooked up to the key switch but you have to turn the swith on then push a push to crank button..
I hope I can get all this stuff straightened out
