I have purchased a mirror with maplights. How do I go about wiring it up though? There are 4 wires for the lights themselves but all are black????

After pulling the mirror apart, I see that there is some splicing going on. On the harness it is labeled a-d and here are there splicings.

Mirror

A--Black
B--Blue
C--Green
D--Blue

There is also a Yellow wire that goes from the switch to both lights. The blue goes to a small LED inside on the pass side where the switch is on the drivers side?

Overhead Console
On my optional roof console (forgot the part number) I have Yellow,white,and black.

Now, my assumption is Yellow is a constant,White is a switched ground from the door, and black is a constant ground. Any ideas on the mirror?

Oops! Sorry..forgot to post back..I figured it out through trial and error basically. I'm not sure where it is from really though. It has 2 maplights. One switch for both on the drivers side and an led or tiny light on next to the passenger side map light to I think light up the switch or something?

Didn't hook up the LED ...just the map lights.. Not so much for map reading, but because I like the look of the dash being lit up when you open the door (saw it on my buddies 91)..
