Guage Cluster Questions
Guage Cluster Questions
I have a couple of questions about my guage cluster. First off where is the ground(s) located for the cluster? More specifically the tach, oi, and gas guages. All of those arent working and I also have the left turn signal light that comes on when I turn my parking lights or headlights on. After talking to someone and looking at the wiring diagram all those run off the same ground.
My next question is I will also be swapping clusters soon for a 145 speedo cluster and was reading the tech article and it mentioned that I should change my temp guage sensor and oil pressure guage sensor. They also said this was for swapping a base model guage cluster for and IROC cluster, since I have an IROC do I have to worry about those? Thanks in advance!

Ok swapped the 145 speedo in and now I have a working tach. But I still have the left turn signal light that is on and the oil and gas guages still dont work. What could cause both not to work? And also cause the light to be on when i turn the parking/headlights on?
I just swapped in the 145 cluster yesterday and when my light switch is turned on, my turn signal lights turn on too in the gauge cluster. The rest of the lights in the cluster are really dim too, the dimmer control is all the way up. anyone have any ideas?

I've sold a few 145 speedos. It was always my recommendation to swap only the speedo head. In that way, providing the guages functioned before the swap, there were no difficulties.
