directional

the directional on my '86 camaro stays on it doesn't blink like it should both the dash indicator and the outside lights do this it just started happening and i dont know what to do

Both sides, or just one side. Both sides, my first guess would be the flasher--cheap to replace. If it's just one side, check the bulbs to make sure they are all turned on and are the correct number.

it is both sides where do i find the flasher in the car

Up under the dash. You should have 2 flashers, one for hazard lights and another one for the blinkers.
